Cardwell Golf Club is proud of its beautiful 9 hole golf course with all the values and friendship that go with it. As soon as you arrive you will feel as welcome as an old friend. The atmosphere is so inviting you may not want to leave so stay a while and enjoy all Cardwell has to offer.

The course will test your golfing prowess and is well maintained from tee blocks through fairways to greens, under the constant watch of our green keeper. Located just a few hundred metres from the Bruce Highway and the beachfront, the course is surrounded by pine forest with the Great Dividing Range as the backdrop, making for a very scenic course. Look out for the local wildlife, wallabies, red tailed black cockatoos, Cairns birdwing and Ulysses butterflies, kookaburras, sunbirds, goannas and many more native species.

The par 71 course is well laid out with doglegs in both directions and a natural creek and lake as water hazards. Two sets of tee blocks make the 9 holes into a challenging 18 hole course.

Update 2011: In February 2011 Cardwell township suffered considerable damage in Cyclone Yasi, which struck shortly before the beginning of Cardwell's golfing calendar year. In mid March Cardwell has been hit yet again, by regional flooding.
